Flora Vera Labs was developed by the vision of founder and industry pioneer, Wendy May (lovely known as Gigi to her friends and family) and her own desperation to find solutions to a lifelong struggle with acne and problematic skin. She turned to therapeutic flowers leading to the discovery of floral adaptogens and their amazing natural abilities to rebalance, restore and rejuvenate skin cells with visible, lasting results.
Her obsession with flowers and their amazing natural healing abilities began as a child in her family's organic gardens in rural Maine where she helped her Sicilian grandmother formulate floral remedies for various skin conditions. It is on these same 240-acre fields that she became one of the first female farmers in the US to cultivate her own floral adaptogen, organic hemp flower.
With her own accomplished career in medical science and biochemistry, Gigi partnered with a team of trained scientists, clinicians and industry experts to develop the first collection of floral adaptogenic skincare - products that use the healing power of floral adaptogens with proprietary technology to keep skin healthy, soft & radiant.
